Millet Burgers
2 cups cooked millet (1/2 cup millet in 2 cups water)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons gluten flour
1 large onion, chopped
¼ cup chopped walnuts
1 pound tofu, crumbled
3 tablespoons Braggs Liquid Aminos
½ cup plain bread crumbs
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes
2 teaspoons plus NO MSG McKay’s chicken-style seasoning to taste
1 teaspoon dried basil, dash of oregano, and sage
1 teaspoon olive oil
Cook millet (takes 30-45minutes). Let cool and mix with all other ingredients. Form into patties and place in baking dish that has been sprayed with a vegetable spray. Bake at 350F. until golden brown, turning once.
